Abstract

The implementation of national slum upgrading program (KOTAKU) of Yogyakarta based on the community empowerment assigns facilitator teams to guide the community. The available training for facilitators required improvement and increase in productivity. It can be done through teamwork, improving work motivation, work satisfaction on the productivity of facilitator. This study aims to analyze the effect of teamwork, work motivation, and work satisfaction on the productivity of facilitator on national slum upgrading program (KOTAKU) of Yogyakarta. The subject of this study was all active facilitators. The objects of the study covered teamwork, motivation, work satisfaction, and productivity. The data were collected through distributing questionnaire to 40 facilitators. The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS. It also covered validity and reliability tests. The result of analysis was based on multiple regression and determination analysis. The result of study showed that simultaneously, teamwork, work motivation, and satisfaction affect productivity. Partially, teamwork does not have positive effect on productivity with regression coefficient value of -0,176 and probability value of 0,233. Work motivation positively and significantly affect productivity with regression coefficient value of 0,198 and probability value of 0,009 < 0,05. Further, work satisfaction positively and significantly affect productivity with regression coefficient value of 0,809 and probability value of 0,000 < 0,05. Work satisfaction becomes the dominant variable affecting productivity of facilitators. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that through work motivation and work satisfaction, the role of facilitator will be more effective in improving the productivity of workers in no-slum city program (KOTAKU) of Yogyakarta .
