Abstract

Indonesia as one of the develop country with the abundant nature wealth ,but can’t avoid of the matter of poverty and unemployment. Poverty as a lack of life especially from the aspect of consumtion , income and social need. Therefore, poverty and unermployment must be solved by every country included by Indonesia in totally. The development will ben succeed if being supported by estabilished economic ,because truly the economic development is a multidimetional effort in increasing the social life efforting job opportunity and reduce imbalance of prosperity and income distribution. The society regard that UMKM is a way to get the economic prosperity whilw the government regard that UMKM as way to build prosperity of society(Subandi,2007).Basically the obstacle and hindrance of UMKM’s entrepreneur in increasing the ability of an effort is very complex and cover many aspects which is one can be related to the another such as:lack of financial capital either in number or sourch ,lack of managerial ability and operation skill as wel as there is no formality form of the company ,weakness of organization and limitation of marketing .Cooperation is a part of an economic agent to be the main figure of national economic that until today has not like we wanted. One of cooperation that have important actor in increasing the growth of UMKM is Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa (KOMIDA) .Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa (KOMIDA) is the micro monetary institute that specially serves the poor woman with the system Grameen Bank . The Mitra Dhuafa cooperation has purpose to take poverty out .The agent who becomes member of the cooperation majority the people with the weak economy level,so only able to run the effort that limited. Based on the explanantion aboved the writer is interested in doing research with the title “Mitra Dhuafa Cooperation in Increasing The Growth of UMKM Branch Bantul.”
