Abstract
The objectives of this study are: 1) To identify the factors that cause the decline in personnel performance at the West Depok Police. 2) To describe the efforts to improve the performance of personnel at the West Depok Police. This research is a qualitative descriptive field research. Based on the results of the study, in general, the performance conditions of the West Depok Polsek employees were in poor condition. 1) From the results of the research obtained, it was found that there were four factors inhibiting the performance of West Depok Police employees, including: indicators of work accuracy, work tidiness, work speed and skills possessed by employees, based on the recapitulation of respondents' responses in the table above it can be seen that the quality of work is stated to be poor, Knowledge of the performance of West Depok Police employees which shows that work knowledge with indicators of educational level and work experience of employees , based on the recapitulation of respondents' responses in the table above, it can be seen that knowledge of the job is stated to be not good, the relationship between teamwork on the performance of the office employees of the West Depok Police Employees and employees with leadership, based on the recapitulation of respondents' responses in the table above, it can be seen that the employee cooperation is quite good, the creativity of the performance of the office employees of the West Depok Police, which shows that the indicators of creativity and employee discipline, it is known that the ability to be creative is not good. 2) Efforts to Improve Performance: Transparent performance appraisal system, reward and punishment, Career Path, Training and Training.
