Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve employee performance library on Library and Archive Office of Karanganyar. The method used is qualitative research methods with an emphasis on performance measurement concept according Sedarmayanti Theory as factors include performance indicators, namely: Work Performance, Expertise, Behavior and Leadership. The study was conducted by dividing the 35 questionnaires, in addition to observation, interviews and documentation. The conclusion of this study the performance of employees in Work performance variables on average 1,327 is fine, Expertise of 0,629 is enough of good, the behavior of 0,838 is enough of good and leadership of 0.807 is enough of good. In this study, there are still problems that need to be improve that quality employees with the training quality of work remains the same, employees rarely have the initiative, there are many employees who perform acts of discipline and leadership is not familial.
