Abstract

This study aims to 1) Identify the factors that cause the performance of the Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence at Polda DIY is not optimal. 2) Knowing how the efforts to improve performance in the Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence at Polda DIY. To identify the causal factors will be analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis tools, while to formulate a strategy analysis will be carried out using a SWOT analysis tool. The results showed that 1) The factors causing the decline in the performance of the Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence of the Polda DIY were personnel problems that were not fulfilled / sufficient, facilities and infrastructure were not yet available, work space was still lacking and office facilities such as computers were still very minimal, Personnel on duty at Dittahti do not fully understand their duties and roles and need to be continuously provided with knowledge about tahti in accordance with existing regulations. 2) Efforts to improve performance at the Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence of the Polda DIY are SO Strategies: Fostering cooperation with the community and other agencies, Able to foster and improve the professionalism of personnel, With many people who know about the Directorate of detainees and Evidence it will be easier to provide understanding to the public about feelings of worry, fear, disturbance, threats both physically and non-physically; WO strategy: With the cooperation between agencies and the government, the intnation can easily obtain facilities and infrastructure to carry out the recruitment process in a transparent, transparent manner, by involving various groups to monitor and supervise the implementation of clean recruitment, both internal and external. DIY Polda Evidence; ST Strategy: Development of the organizational structure for the Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence of the Yogyakarta Regional Police and its staff and the arrangement of the management and management system starting at the Sub-Sector Police, Polsek, Polres and Polda, including by developing the organizational structure of the DIY Police Prisoners Care and Evidence; WT strategy: Professionalism of members, improving the performance of members of the Yogyakarta Police's Directorate of Prisoner Care and Evidence by focusing on increasing cases and solving cases of conventional crimes, transnational crimes, crimes against state assets and crimes that have contingent implications in a clean and free case brokerage practice.
