Abstract

Talent is not enough to enable someone to become an entreprenuer, nor can someone just be formed into becoming one. Graduates who are ready for work and ready to become entrpreneurs is a challenge for academic institutions especially universities or higher education institutions and therefore the academic world has substantially included entreprenuership in its curriculum. There are many factors and conditions that stimulate intention to become entreprenuers amongst students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between personality factor, environmental factor and the demographic factors with entreprenuership intentions amongst students who are actively engaged in a bachelor’s degree program and who are full time students. The method used in this study is through survey and interview, using a questionnaire as an instrument to measure and analyze entreprenuership intentions as well as determining the relevant factors by using a part of the Entreprenuerial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ).The study result shows that entrepreneurship interest amongst students are due to the need for achievement with a signifi cance value of 0,007 and self-effi cacy with a signifi cance value of 0,009. Meanwhile other factors do not have a signifi cant infl uence over entrepreneurial intentions.
