Abstract
This study aims to 1) determine the effect of communicating leadership to employee performance in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; 2) determine the influence of leadership on employee performance in coordinating the Regional Secretariat Gunungkidul; 3) determine the influence of organized leadership to employee performance in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; 4) knowing the effect of motivating leadership to employee performance in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; 5) determine the influence of leadership utilizing the resources on the performance of employees in the Regional Secretariat Gunungkidul; 6) determine the influence of leadership set guidelines on the performance of employees working in the Regional Secretariat Gunungkidul; 7) knowing mengklasifikas leadership influence ‘fish’ expectations on the performance of employees in the Regional Secretariat Gunungkidul; and 8) determine the influence of leadership to communicate, coordinate, organize, motivate, utilize resources, establish work guidelines, and classify the expectations on the performance of employees in the District Secretariat Gunungkidul.This study categorized ex post facto research because this research is not applied treatment or manipulation of variables. The study was conducted in April 2012 and the place of research in Gunungkidul District Secretariat. The study population was an employee at the Regional Secretariat Gunungkidul with a sample of 116 people. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression. Results of the study: ( 1 ) leadership in communicating a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 2 ) leadership in coordinating positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 3 ) leadership in organizing positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 4 ) leadership in motivating positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 5 ) Leadership in utilizing resources and significant positive effect on employee performance in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 6 ) leadership in establishing policies and procedures are positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 7 ) leadership in hopes classifying positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat; ( 8 ) Leadership in communicating, coordinating, organizing, motivating, utilizing resources, establish work guidelines and expectations classify positive and significant effect on the performance of employees in Gunungkidul District Secretariat.
