Abstract
Hospital service vulnerable to spread of Nosokomial infection, prevention and control program infection must be applied in every hospital. In Purwogondo hospital Kebumen number of occurrence phlebitis was still very high that was 23,11% from target 1%. The objective of the research was to evaluate the implementation prevention and control program Nosokomial infection in Purwogondo hospital year 2017. Kind of this research was qualitative research by study case approach, in-depth interview, discussion group forums and document observation were used to get Purwogondo hospital prevention and control program. Informans used a number of 21 people consisting of 3 interview informants and 2 group each 9 people for FGD. Analyze method used descriptive qualitative and comparative through stage, data presentation, result explanation, interview discussion group forums, and conclusion. In term of management, Purwogondo hospital has not been able to run PPI with maximum evidenced from the result of monitoring was still under the standard. For example hand wash, cleanliness environment, the availability of personal protective equipment and etc. Occurrence number of infection happened in Purwogondo hospital 2017 for IDO, ISK, and dekubitus= 0. Although phlebitis occurrence=17% from standard 1%. It could be concluded the implementation of PPI program has not been done with maximum so occurrence number of phlebitis were still high.
